The presentation was made in conjunction with the Louisiana Hospital Association (LHA) Annual Meeting and Summer Conference recently held in Orange Beach, 阿拉巴马州.

The Physician Champion Award recognizes an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives known for advancing the medical profession, as well as demonstrating outstanding leadership and commitment to quality care, 患者安全和绩效改善, Kiley Cedotal说, who is ACHE’s Louisiana chapter president and 在线体育投注’s vice president of strategic growth.

This recognition placed North Oaks in the company of more than 100 hospitals from 28 countries honored for their COVID-19 response. North Oaks was one of only 13 facilities honored nationwide.

Dr. Peltier generously gives of his time to Children Advocacy 服务, 他在那里担任法庭指定的特别辩护律师, and he volunteers to provide free physicals to student-athletes through annual North Oaks Sports Medicine Physical Days. He also works closely with physician residency programs across the state to help new physicians know what to expect when they begin practicing.

He joined the North Oaks medical staff as an internal medicine physician and travel medicine specialist in 1998 and was honored as the health system’s Physician of the Year in 2005 and as a “2020 Health Care Hero” by 新奥尔良城市商业.

A graduate of Louisiana State University’s School of Medicine in Shreveport, Dr. Peltier completed an internship and residency through its Internal Medicine Residency Program in Baton Rouge.
